Audio and Design
Amruta Divekar (she/her) recently graduated from the University of Colorado Boulder with a degree in Psychology and Music. Her eventual goal is to become a therapist, and she is currently pursuing a Master's Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. Amruta is also the proud sister of Anoushka Divekar, founder of Clarinet Chronicles, and is always inspired by her sister's work to foster inclusion in the performing arts community.
Amruta began as a young musician, singing, playing piano, and creating as much music as she could. She was a part of the Thompson Jazz Studies program at CU Boulder as a jazz trumpeter. Though she is no longer pursuing music professionally, she loves learning new pieces, trying new instruments, and singing as much as possible.
Amruta is also passionate about social justice and hopes to make changes in the mental health field surrounding access to services for those in low-income communities, as well as reducing stigma surrounding patients receiving therapy. She hopes to partner with non-profit organizations to provide therapeutic services on a sliding scale and hopes to donate her time to the field to make positive change.
